Survey: Third of Russian companies expect growth this year
DAVOS, Jan 16 (PRIME) -- A third of Russian companies’ top managers are sure their businesses will grow in the coming year, and 41% believe growth is probable in the next three years as seen in a survey conducted by PWC in September-December 2016 and released at the Davos World Economic Forum on Monday.
A smaller share of respondents, or 20% think that the global economy will show positive dynamics in 2017, whereas 17% expect a decline.
The largest share of Russia’s top managers, or 40%, mentioned China, 36% the U.S., 33% Germany and 14% Britain as the most important countries for their companies to advance.
Unstable currencies, excessive state control, geopolitical instability and a modest economic growth were specified as the main economic and political threats.
